Bolgo terms of use

What Bolgo is

Bolgo is a personal finance app: you enter what comes in and what goes out, and it tells you how much is free to spend until the next income, how the month ends and what is already spoken for. It works on the phone and on the computer, at app.bolgo.io. It is operated by PMARTINSDEV Tecnologia LTDA, CNPJ 55.279.733/0001-07.

Your account

You create the account with an e-mail and a password, or sign in with Apple or Google. The account is yours and nobody else's, and the password is not shared. It stays open on one phone and one browser at the same time: signing in on another phone ends the first phone's session, and signing in on another browser ends the previous browser's.

Your data is yours

Everything you enter is yours. You export it as a spreadsheet or a backup file whenever you want, on any plan, and erase everything whenever you want. Bolgo does not sell data and shows no ads. How we handle the data is in the Privacy policy.

The free plan and Premium

The free plan has limits on accounts, cards and categories, and sees the current month and the next. Premium removes those limits and sees 24 months, simulates purchases, warns of a negative balance in any month and makes the month's PDF. An account has one Premium at a time, subscribed in one place.

On the App Store or Google Play, the price is what the store shows in your country, and the subscription is made, renewed and canceled through your store account, with the free trial the store states.

Premium is sold only by the App Store and Google Play, in the phone app. It is not sold on the computer: whoever subscribed in a store sees Premium on the computer too, with the same account.

When the subscription ends nothing is erased: what is over the limit stays kept and becomes editable again with Premium.

What Bolgo is not

Bolgo is not a bank, a broker or an adviser. The numbers it shows come from what you entered and from the rules written in it, and they help you stay organized; they are not financial advice and guarantee no result. Always check with your bank.

Statements

You can import OFX, QIF, CSV and PDF statements. The PDF is read by a service outside Bolgo (OpenAI), and you review every line before writing. Reading has a daily cap per account.

AI assistants

You can connect an AI assistant to your account, after you tap Allow on a page of Bolgo itself. It reads and changes your data the way you ask it to, and what it does through the connection counts as if you had done it. The assistant belongs to another company, which follows its own policy. You disconnect it whenever you want in Settings.

Availability

Bolgo keeps your data in the cloud. Offline, it shows what was already on the screen and keeps your entries to send when the connection is back; the rest waits for the connection. We do our best to keep the service up, but it is offered as is, and it may have maintenance windows.

Acceptable use

Do not use Bolgo to break the law, to attack the service or to reach other people's data. We may close an account that does so, with notice where the law allows.

Ending

You can delete the account at any time, inside the app. After 7 days without coming back, everything is erased. If Bolgo ceases to exist, we will give 30 days' notice so you can export everything.

Law and venue

These terms follow Brazilian law, with venue in João Pessoa, PB, Brazil, without prejudice to consumer rights in the country where you live.

Changes

A new version of these terms has a new date, and the app tells you before it applies.
